  • I GAINED 15 POUNDS SINCE MY WEDDING

So here I am, a month away from my one year wedding annivesary, and I am 15 pounds heavier.

Here is the million dollar question! Where was the heads up? How about "Hey Lana, I see you added some junk in your trunk" or "Hey Lana, please be advised that an extra dipple has appeared on your thigh! SOMETHING!! ANYTHING!   Okay, okay, my husband may have mentioned something, BUT HE DOESN'T COUNT!!!

When I lost the weight for my wedding, everyone commented on my weight loss, I even got the "Dont lose any more weight" My boss even said " Lana, you look like you just came from a concentration camp"!! Now here I am, mad at myself and yes, I am mad at the fucking world!

So now that we got that out of the way....

Today is a new day-  Wednesday, August 26th, 2009- 155 lbs

At 5 ft 7 inches I am weighing in at 155 pounds(dont get me wrong, I still look good  but...) but my goal weight is 130.  I weighed 140 when I got married, but I figured I keep going until I reach my magic number.

So-I am not waiting until Monday, I am starting today. Hitting the gym after work, and doing cardio for an hour-HARD! I will not be weighing myself everyday, so, I will update you every Wednesday on my progress! Your support will be needed, since I will be taking to my blog everyday and updating you on my workouts, diet, cheats, emotions and so on. You should be quite entertained!

Now for a glass of water!

Its 825pm. I went to the gym(yay for me) with a lot of determination today. I did the CrossRamp for an hour and boy, did I sweat. I didn't incorporate any weight training as I am planning to start with a weighlifting routine on Monday.

Dinner : Grilled Asparagus and Grilled Salmon with a half a glass of Orange juice...

...which brings me to my liquid calorie intake issue. For the last couple of months, I have been consuming too much soda, beer and Ice coffee. I know this is part of the weight gain, so the plan is to also cut this out of my diet. The tough part is trying to wean myself from the caffeine. But, I can do it.

    And that concludes day 1!

p.s I will only be blogging for a month!

    Thursday, August 27th 9:22am

It took everything in my being not to stop and order my medium, Ice Coffee, cream with 2 splenda this morning. Instead, I am sipping on  my tall glass of water!

Breakfast: A bowl of Raisin bran cereal with Soy milk.

116pm: Lunch: Just had a half a can of tuna(mayo), with lettuce, cut up Jalapeno cheddar cheese and cucumber which made a really tasty salad. Also on my 4th (beer mug) water.

Back to work, and will update later in the day.

    August 28th-9:00am

So I skipped the gym yesterday and headed for BJ's to stock up the fridge for the weekend. My husband and I have become "those" people who buys food needed on that day- so on the weekend, since the fridge is empty, we tend to buy pizza or chinese food. We both know that this is an unhealthy choice and we keep promising ourselves that "this will be the last weekend we are doing this". Last night I marinated some chicken breast for my husband,  and grilled them. Now he has chicken for the weekend! I am a vegetarian(still eat seafood) so I stocked up on shrimp, salmon and veggie burgers.

Gil(hubby) and I had a healthy dinner last night. I had two Salmon burgers, green salad(no dressing) and roasted bell peppers.

We are attending a surprise party tonight for a friend of ours. I will be hitting the gym before. The big test tonight is staying away from alcohol!

Alright, back to work. But first, a large glass of water to start the day!
